The customer lacked a kitchen and canteen solution. It was, therefore, necessary to find a solution for 200+ people. They needed a temporary canteen and meeting and conference facilities in central Copenhagen. There was very limited space available, and demolition and construction of a new wing to the existing building was in progress. The construction period was estimated to last about twelve months. Therefore, there were special requirements for the solution. This placed high demands on planning by all parties involved. After several suggestions, the best solution was found, so that the work could continue around the temporary facilities.
This solution combines pavilions and DC-Supply's mobile kitchen containers. These combined units provide the opportunity to achieve the best solution. The pavilions created a large room and kitchen units, which can easily function in the everyday life of the employees in the kitchen. The kitchen is divided into the cold/vegetable department, fridge/freezer compartment, dishwasher, and hot department. In addition, this project has an extra dishwashing container and additional oven container. This gives the canteen and the kitchen a dishwasher each.
