The Royal Guard’s kitchen and canteen facilities had to be renovated over a period of seven months. There was a need for an easy solution.
Mobile container solution for temporary kitchen and canteen
The Royal Guard could get the food delivered by an external supplier, which would entail significant costs, or they could find temporary facilities, so they could continue to cook themselves. The facilities had to be located close to the barracks, and there had to be capacity to feed a few hundred men. Due to shift changes, the facilities had to be open around the clock.
With the help of DC-Supply A/S – Danish Container Supply, they got a temporary solution which consisted of 13 pcs 20ft container modules combined into one kitchen, containing canteen and storage facilities. The result was an extremely functional kitchen with a goods reception ramp, refrigerated storage, hot kitchen, and a service area with a buffet and a dishwasher container. The mobile kitchen facilities integrated into ISO containers that made the solution easy to move wherever the job may require.
