New concept in marine education.
Custom-built container for hands-on education
DC-Supply A/S – Danish Container Supply has delivered a custom-built 40-ft container to MARTEC in Frederikshavn and Fredericia Maskinmesterskole, which houses a portable “full mission engine room simulator.”
The simulator is to be used in the training of Marine Engineers, and is designed to simulate, to the best of its ability, the conditions the students will encounter in their future workplace.
With the mobile simulator, the schools are able to offer the students the newest technology in-house, whereas, in the past, many resources were spent working with external parties.
The mobile container solution is comprised of three sections, which are fully insulated and mounted with a heat pump.
