Developed as an extension to an existing container-based salmon slaughterhouse, DC-Supply A\/S – Danish Container Supply has now supplemented the production facilities for a customer in the Faroe Islands. This time, we have built and delivered a unique container solution in two stories with an internal spiral staircase.<\/p>\n

The two-story container solution with a built-in internal staircase serves as entrance modules for the personnel of a previously delivered slaughterhouse container<\/a>, located on the first floor. Besides the internal spiral staircase providing access between the floors, the container includes a drying cabinet, washing machine, tumble dryer, and zone division to create a more organised workspace.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The staff enters through the entrance on the ground floor, where there is space for depositing footwear. Here, they also find a hand wash basin as well as a drying cabinet. They then proceed up the stairs to the first floor, where there are washing and drying facilities for work clothes as well as direct access into the production area. At the end of the workday, employees leaving the production area can place their soiled work clothes directly into the washing machine before going down to change into their own clothes. On the first floor, there are also hand wash basins and two drying cabinets.
