40 ft showroom container for Wexøe.
DC-Supply A/S – Danish Container Supply has delivered a custom-built 40 ft showroom container to Wexøe, where the solution will be used in connection with trade fairs and exhibitions. At Wexøe, they have named the showroom container their “EXPOtainer”, and inside the container visitors can enjoy inspiration for the latest installation solutions.

Custom-built 40 ft container showroom in “New Nordic style”
The custom-built 40 ft showroom container is decorated in what is known as “New Nordic style” – a minimalist and natural Nordic style. Wexøe has taken care of the interior design and furnishing, but materials used in the construction such as concrete, wood and glass complete this clean yet cosy style.
The showroom container is insulated with 70mm Rockwool, and the interior walls are lined with panels with a concrete look. The floor is built with 18mm plywood on which are glued rods of 2mm LVT luxury vinyl with a wooden look. To ensure good acoustics in the showroom container, the ceiling is covered with troldtekt. Windows and doors are white on the inside to help brighten the rooms, while on the outside they are covered with anthracite gray vinyl. Behind the container doors, a small area has been created for mounting electrical panels and controls.
Mobile showroom container packed with technology
In the showroom container, DC-Supply has installed two electric ventilators and a heat pump – providing a healthy and comfortable indoor climate in the insulated container. The exterior of the showroom is equipped with an electric awning over the entrance area, also installed by DC-Supply. We have also fitted all cables, including KNX cables, to prepare the showroom for the customer’s own installation of supplemental hardware.
The showroom container is fitted with a bedroom, living/dining room and kitchen, and throughout Wexøe has taken care of furnishing as well as the kitchen installation. In order to showcase solutions and products, Wexøe has also fitted the container with the latest solutions for electrical installation, as well as inspiration and technology for Smart Homes. In each room, the installations have been carefully thought out, so that Wexøe are able to present a wide selection of their products in the showroom container. At Wexøe, it is planned that the new showroom will be used at exhibitions, fairs and on tour to the company’s partners.
