The City of Copenhagen decided to use the climate conference, COP15, in Copenhagen to focus on the environment and climate.
Mobile exhibition container participates in climate summit
Copenhagen Municipality wanted to show the opportunities and technologies available in alternative energy at the COP 15 climate summit. Copenhagen Municipality needed a solution that could easily be moved to other events, yet still show concrete examples of alternative energy. The solution was not only going to be used during the climate conference, but also serve as an educational tool for the schools of Copenhagen after the conference finished.
Copenhagen Municipality contacted DC-Supply A/S – Danish Container Supply to rebuild a standard container into a mobile exhibition room. It had to be a custom-built container that gave them the opportunity to show concrete examples of alternative energy.
With the container, Copenhagen Municipality had the opportunity to install alternative energy equipment in a mobile facility which could be moved and transported as needed.
