In 2015, DC-Supply A/S – Danish Container Supply delivered a custom-built container solution to P/F Luna Hiddenfjord Salmon farming in the Faroe Islands.
Then In 2021, we delivered a purpose-built extra level to the solution, thereby adding a 1st. floor with canteen and conference room to the existing building.
Canteen and conference room, adding an expansion to a custom-built container solution in the Faroe Islands
P/F Luna Hiddenfjord Salmon salmon farming in the Faroe Islands received a custom-built container solution from DC-Supply A/S in 2015. The building, with its clean exterior wood cladding, houses a laboratory, storage facilities, changing rooms, toilets and showers for the company’s employees. In 2021, P/F Luna needed an extension to be added to the current building. The extension is established as an upper-level floor on top of the existing building. This custom-built container expansion adds a canteen and conference room to the facilities. Access from the ground floor to the first floor is easily available by the internal staircase.
With the initial delivery of the first custom container solution in 2015, and likewise with the new canteen and conference room expansion in 2021 – DC-Supply’s own experienced craftsmen travelled to the Faroe Islands to assemble the building. This helps to ensure P/F Luna has a building that meets and complies with all requirements, rules and building legislations – with a smooth setup, delivering a ready, fully-fledged solution that fits neatly into the beautiful surroundings.
