The customer needed a new workshop for their site in Africa.
Workshop in mobile, custom-built container – in Africa!
The customer was faced with a challenge that meant he had to build a more efficient, modern, and secure workshop. It also had to be a mobile solution that could be transported by ship.
Yet again, DC-Supply A/S – Danish Container Supply was ready with another solution in the form of a 40ft insulated ISO workshop container. This type of workshop container is known as a “doghouse” within the oil industry. The container was delivered with bright clean surfaces, a specially built crane, air conditioning, and an entrance.
The customer can use the container for additional storage or as a workshop. The container is removable and equipped with lighting, heating, custom shelves, and various vents. It is CSC approved for international transport, such as shipping and road transportation, where security and flexibility are important.
The container is based in Africa. The result was a complete workshop with an AC unit and a crane in the ceiling that would help in the process of repairing technical equipment. It is a great solution for dealing with engineering issues in the oil industry.
