Bus driver module – A container-based break room.
For a client, DC-Supply A/S – Danish Container Supply custom-built several break rooms for bus drivers from container modules. The bus driver modules include both a toilet and living room with a kitchenette – offering the bus drivers a comfortable, relaxing environment for short or longer breaks.

Robust break rooms for bus drivers in container modules
These small custom-built container-based bus driver modules are robust, insulated units that only require minimal external maintenance. The modules come preinstalled with insulating sandwich panels consisting of 100 mm Rockwool “sandwiched” between two 0.6 mm galvanised steel panels. Externally, they are cladded with weather-resistant Hardiplank. Heating is handled by two electric radiators ensuring that the bus drivers’ breaks take place in a warm, comfortable environment year-round.
The break room is also equipped with a kitchenette, including a steel sink and fridge, and overhead cabinets keep track of crockery, coffee, tea, etc. The kitchen sink comes with a hot and cold mixer tap. Hot water for both the kitchen as well as the bathroom sink is supplied from a 15L water heater. The connection for all plumbing and electricity to the break room is easily accessed via a service hatch built into the floor of the bathroom.
