Meeting rooms for inside the office – in containers

The three purpose-built meeting rooms are based on 20-ft standard ISO containers. Each container – has one long side outfitted with floor-to-ceiling glass sections. In the centre glass section, a double glass door is inserted – enabling employees to open and close the container meeting room as needed, while maintaining contact with colleagues and generally keeping connected to the ongoings, elsewhere in the spacious office space.

All three containers are painted black matt gloss (RAL 9005) and become an integral part of the whole in this specially designed office environment. Inside the containers, both end gables and one long side are fully insulated and covered with acoustic panels clad in smoked oak. Combined with the black Troldtekt ceiling, the acoustic panels help to create a pleasant, voice-friendly acoustic environment inside the container meeting room – itself sitting inside the office space. The black carpet tile flooring along with built-in electrical panels also being installed in black cabinets within the container meeting rooms – help form a continuous, calm interior surface.

Meeting room in a container – ready for furnishing

Mounted in the Troldtekt ceiling are four recessed power rails with black, rotatable LED spots connected on tracks. Standard lamp outlets are grouped in the middle of the ceiling, ready for mounting the customer’s own pendants, should he or she so choose. The rotatable LED spots let the employees using the container meeting rooms – easily adjust the direction of the light as needed. At Coolshop, they have chosen to supplement the built-in spots with two, beautiful pendants, placed above a large table.

At DC-Supply’s own workshop, we preinstalled the wiring and electricity needed for the installation of a large flat-screen TV in the future. Along with that, the meeting room containers have also been configured and are ready for the installation of ventilation systems to be connected once they are at the customer’s premises.

In the Coolshop office environment, the meeting rooms have been furnished with a meeting table and chairs, a flat-screen TV, motivational posters and signs. Keeping an eye out from the roof of the containers are several Marvel superheroes, who along with the rest of the permanent interior “staff” – Batman, Lego and Playmobil to name a few – and together with a vintage VW Type II Transporter proudly displayed, aim to make sure that working here will never be boring!
