At DC-Supply A/S – Danish Container Supply, we have a solution, the know how and a great deal of experience creating residential containers, be it fixed or mobile applications.
Temporary housing – be it for short or long term stay, often require special solutions. It may be that space for setup is at a minimum, or perhaps the facilities have to be established in an inhospitable area with difficult access – maybe there are specific requirements for both interior design and capacity.

Mobile Residential rooms in containers
DC-Supply’s task, was to provide a residential room with a so-called self-sufficient toilet. It should also be able to keep itself warm, even if the thermometer outside shows negative 45 degrees Celsius.

Bane Denmark’s responsibilities consist of maintenance, renewal, and expansion of the railway network. For this work, train cars are obviously needed to transport the workers and equipment to the places where the rail network is to be repaired and serviced.
Buy or rent custom-built residential containers
Whether your residential container is to be used in Slagelse, Africa or even north of the Arctic Circle, we can tailor a solution for you at our own workshop. We can equip the container with facilities to connect to the existing supply network, for both electricity, water and sewerage – or we can offer self-sufficient solutions with, for example, solar cells, battery and wastewater collection, all solutions that we have previously supplied to both Greenland and the Faroe Islands. When comfort is paramount, but production schedule time is tight, a viable and stable solution could be a container based modular construction. Here, our flexible housing solutions already have the necessary facilities, such as kitchen, shower and toilet – but can naturally also be built according to your particular specification, wishes and needs. How can a residential container be fitted?
A residential container can be fitted and furnished exactly as you wish – both in relation to electricity, light and heat, wall and floor coverings, smart home technology, etc. Containers are easy to stack, and it is also possible to establish interior staircases if there is a need for use of several floors. If the residential container is also provided with exterior cladding, it can match the surrounding buildings and environment, thereby becoming part of the area’s general architecture.

Is a residential container properly insulated?
At DC-Supply A/S, we are experts in constructing well-insulated containers, and have, among other things, developed patented insulation panels that make it possible to use a container from -51℃ to +60℃. When we custom build residential containers, it is always included in the considerations where the containers are to be set up and used. For example, we have many years of experience in producing and delivering container solutions for housing in Greenland, where terrain, weather and lack of sewerage otherwise would present challenges.

Can a residential container be mobile?
Yes, one of the biggest advantages of establishing container-based housing is precisely that the solution can be made mobile. When we build a bespoke residential container, we will take into account whether the finished solution is to be permanently set up in a certain place – e.g. where there is possibility of connection to existing supply networks – or whether it is to be used for temporary residence at different locations, for example as staff accommodation moving between construction sites.
